No new items have been added to the digging pools since the March 15 introduction of puffle digging.
The Infinite Tower contains Magic O'Berries and Ye Olde Puffle O's that are supposed to assist in puffle leveling. However, the items currently do not work as intended.
The color or rarity of the puffle does not affect digging frequency, coin value or items that can be dug up.
Puffles can dig everywhere on the map, including the Infinite Tower, except for igloos. However, upon reaching level 85, your puffle will unlock the ability to dig coins in igloos.
Digging has a five minute cool down. If you move within these five minutes, the cool down time is extended. This can be random.
Changing tabs and/or putting CPJ in the background can extend the cool down timer but, this varies heavily depending on your browser and operating system.
All items from the available item pool have the same chance to be found.
The chance for each individual item does not depend on how many items you have already found. As you find more items in each pool, your chance of digging coins increases.
Owning items in any pool does not increase your chance of finding any of the other items.
Level 30+ puffles average 200 coins per dig.
Level 60+ puffles average 250 coins per dig.
