Unless stated otherwise, our original guide content is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). You can read the full license here.

This includes our original written guides, walkthroughs, tips, explanations, annotations, and other original material created by CPJGuide.com/The Mine Shack.

It also applies to our original contributions to guide screenshots and media, such as annotations, edits, graphics, commentary, and original videos, to the extent that we own the rights to those contributions.

If you would like to use our licensed content in a way that is not permitted by the license, please contact us.

Sharing Our Content

You may share our licensed content in its original, unmodified form for non-commercial purposes, provided that you:

Clearly credit CPJGuide.com and/or The Mine Shack as the source.
Provide a direct link to the original content on CPJGuide.com where reasonably possible.
Include a link to the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license where reasonably possible.
Do not share modified or adapted versions of our licensed content.

If you share our content, the attribution should be clear enough that people can reasonably understand that the information came from CPJGuide.com or The Mine Shack.

You do not need to ask us for permission to share unchanged licensed content when your use follows the terms of the license.

Using Our Content

Our guides are intended to be shared and referenced by the community. For example, linking to one of our guides in a Reddit post or discussion in a Discord server to help answer a question or provide information in that context is welcome. What we do not permit, however, is the dishonest copying or republishing of our guides or other original content in a way that misrepresents their source.

Do not copy, scrape, or reproduce our guides or other original content for the purpose of passing our content off as your own, whether the content is used in its original form or modified.

This includes using our content to create republished or aggregated guides, articles, posts, videos, or similar content on websites, social media accounts, channels, Discord servers, or other platforms. It also includes removing or obscuring our attribution, or modifying our content and presenting it as though it originated from you.

Game Assets and Third-Party Content

Our CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license covers the original guide content created by CPJGuide.com/The Mine Shack, including our writing, explanations, annotations, edits, and original media.

Our guides may also contain material that belongs to other people or organisations. This includes Club Penguin and Club Penguin Journey game assets, which may be included where necessary to provide context in the pursuit to inform and/or educate through our guides and to visually identify the content being discussed. Our guides may also include contributions provided by community members. We do not claim ownership of these third-party materials. Where we use community contributions that require credit, we will credit the contributor appropriately.

The CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license does not extend to third-party material that we do not own or have the right to license.

For example, when we annotate a game screenshot for a guide, the game assets shown in the screenshot remain third-party material, while our original annotations and guide content in that same screenshot are covered by our license.

Assets originally created for Club Penguin and Club Penguin Journey remain the property of their respective rights holders and the original Club Penguin/Club Penguin Journey teams.
