Indoor Rooms vs Outdoor Rooms
There are two types of environments in the tower, some indoor and some outdoor. If you wish to grind for treasure or aim for the highest score, be sure to try to be in as many outdoor rooms as you can. If you are aiming for artifacts, be sure to try to stay in the indoor rooms.
Alternate Shooting
If you run out of ammo and say you have two fire minions and two snow minions in the same room. The best way to shoot is to shoot at one type, then the other so for this example shoot one fire first, then a snow, then a fire, etc. The reason for this is the cooldowns to regenerate snowballs. If you alternate it, you can get ammo faster and shoot faster.
Skip Mobs
There are some rooms that it really is just worth it to skip the mobs, for example this one:
It is best here to just go for the exit as soon as you can instead of staying here and shooting the mobs, risking losing health.
Find the Shortest Route
In the maze rooms, the best idea is to always try to get out of that room as fast as you can. Try to always find the shortest route out of the room. Using the image from above as an example:
The best route out of this room i the one posted, since you only have to way for one barrier and the trap door. Since this a very early level, the trap doors don't trigger as much so you can just through it to the next room.
Aim for Groups
It is best to aim for groups of enemies instead of individual enemies, as theres splash damage sometimes for them.
For example in this image, there are two snow minions next to eachother. If you aim a fireball right in between them, they both take damage. Less shots means you can go to the next room faster.
Best Items
Here is what I think are the best items in the game, along with a bit on each.
Welding Mask
No joke, this is the best item in the game by far. The damage increases by one in every room that you are in so you can hit minions for insane damage once it snowballs. Take this in every run that you can!!

It one shots anything with any snowball that you throw. That's how god it is. The best build right now is the welding mask along with three items that give shields. Just do this and I guarantee success.
Infinite Pizza
You are probably confused as to why I am mentioning this item. If you read the description it says:
Doesn't sound very good right? The thing is, this item has a secret.
This is the only healing item in the whole tower.
If you manage to eat the Infinite Pizza, you will heal for around 8% of your health at a time. So if you are low on health, it is not a bad idea to carry one of these around. The regeneration for this item isn't that long and also the speed loss isn't that big at at all. Take this item, it is worth it.
Duck Floatie
This item pushes minions that you walk past. If you don't have this item equipped, you will take damage walking past the minions.
So by having this item, you can just speed past all the levels without having to worry about damage at all, This item paired with the Welding Mask is a really good combination.
Life Ring
This item gives you around 4-5 shields by itself so if you are going to try to do the Welding Mask strategy, this is another really good item to pair it with. Even if the Welding Mask gets nerfed, this is always something that should be taken.
Magic O'Berry
This item allows you to have your puffle in the tower digging for items while you play. Your puffle can dig for puffle treasure or artifacts if you have this item so it is very useful.
There's also the added bonus that if you leave the tower with this item, you can get a +1 level on your puffle! (This is bugged right now but the description says this so just wait till it's fixed.)
